Atelier Daily (“Atelier Daily,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent app that helps you get dressed — a forecast-first AI stylist that builds outfit ideas from your own wardrobe and your local weather. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are based in California, United States.

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is handled securely by our authentication provider (Google Firebase) — we never see or store it. You may optionally provide a display name and a preferred language.
Style preferences (“Style DNA”). During setup you tell us about your style — for example the looks, colors, silhouettes, and comfort levels you prefer. We use this to personalize your outfits.
Photos you add. Wardrobe photos: pictures of your clothing and accessories that you add to your closet. Try-on photo (optional): if you use the “On You” virtual try-on, you may provide a photo of yourself so we can show looks rendered on you. You choose what photos to add. These images are used to provide the styling features you request.
Location. With your permission, we use your device’s approximate location to show your local weather forecast and style you for the conditions. Only your coordinates (and, on your device, your city name) are used. If you decline location access, the app falls back to a default city and still works.
Usage and content you create. We collect information about how you use the app — such as the number of AI styling actions you take (to manage your plan’s monthly allowance) — and the content you save, such as saved looks, weekly plans, trips, and wishlist items.
Purchases. If you subscribe, your subscription status is processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and our subscriptions provider (RevenueCat). We never receive your full payment card details — Apple handles payment.
Notifications. If you turn on the daily style reminder, we store your device’s push notification token and your chosen reminder time and approximate location so we can send you a morning notification with that day’s weather and look.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information beyond the photos you choose to provide, and we do not use facial recognition to identify you.
We use the information above to: provide and personalize the app (generate daily looks, virtual try-ons, moodboards, travel capsules, and “style this piece” suggestions from your wardrobe and weather); show your local weather forecast; manage your account, subscription, and monthly styling allowance; send the daily reminder only if you turn it on; maintain the security and reliability of the app and prevent abuse; improve our features and fix problems; and comply with legal obligations.
To create your looks, try-ons, and moodboards, we send the relevant information — such as your style preferences, your wardrobe item details, and the photos involved — to trusted AI providers:
These providers process your content to return your result and, under their commercial API terms, do not use your content to train their AI models. We send only what’s needed to produce what you asked for.
We share information only with the service providers that operate the app on our behalf, and only as needed to run it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the app. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Some screens let you shop for items (“Shop this”). When you tap a shopping link, you leave the app and open the retailer in your device’s browser. We may use affiliate links, which means a referral identifier is added to the link; if you make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your payment details from these purchases. The retailer’s own privacy policy governs what happens on their site.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, wardrobe photos, saved content, and associated data from our active systems. Backups and logs are cleared on a rolling basis. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, purchase records).
Access and update: you can view and edit much of your information directly in the app. Delete your account and data: you can delete your account from within the app, or by emailing us at atelierdailyapp@gmail.com. Location: you can turn location access on or off at any time in your device’s Settings. Notifications: you can turn the daily reminder on or off in the app and in your device’s Settings.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing, and to data portability. Our legal bases are performing our contract with you, your consent (location and notifications), and our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the app).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information.

Atelier Daily is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We protect your information using encryption in transit, access controls, and owner-scoped security rules that restrict your data to your account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the app, you understand your information may be transferred to these locations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be communicated in the app.
